A Final Thought

It was one year ago that I started this Picture a Day thing. I wondered a few times if I was going to make it through. Time constraints made it tough sometimes but I was able to get at least one picture off each day, even if I didn't get a chance to get it posted that day. For those of you who have visited this site, I hope you enjoyed some of the photographs, and excused some of the last minute, less than stellar efforts. I know that I had a good time taking the pictures and reading your comments. Thanks for your support.

Day 365 Happy New Year Everyone

Day 364

It used to be very easy to get Christmas presents for Matt. A first a few new toys, later on, larger more expensive things. Now we have to get creative. This year, one of his presents was a tandem skydive. It took a little soul searching on Reba's part, deciding whether or not to throw her kid out of an airplane, but she finally agreed. Today was his jump. Here he is making the final approach.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel. It's hard to believe that after this one, there will only be two more posts before the 2006 edition of My Picture a Day is finished.

Since I had taken some kidding this year about posting so many bird pictures, I thought that that I would sneak in one more before the end of the year.
