Get ready... Get set....
All right, one more day until I get this off the ground. I figured I would post one more old one here to get prepared for the start of PAD '06. This particular shot was taken last summer at a rice plantation near Brunswick Ga.
ISO 100
Shutter 1/15
Aperture f 4.0
This was a hand-held shot. You have to love the anti-shake feature on the KM Maxxum 7D. I know that Konica Minolta doesn't advertise as much as some of the others like Canon and Nikon but they really do put out a nice product. I know that the others are very good cameras but I would encourage anyone who is looking to buy a DSLR to actually pick up one of the 7D's and give it a try. I think if you forget the hype and the snobbery (not to say that all Canon and Nikon owners are brand snobs although some definitely are) you will at least find the 7D to be competitive with the Canon 20D and in my opinion superior to the D70 although somewhat pricier. Keep in mind however, that ANY lens you put on the KM7D is image stabilized instead of having to buy more expensive lenses. The extra cost is probably made up on one good lens purchase.
Well enough of that commercial. Check back for the first installment of PAD '06.
